Kern Tec is a B2B ingredient company that produces new and unique products for the food industry from unused resources of the fruit industry (apricot, cherry, plum pits).

In Europe, fruit pits are a waste product - such as in the juice industry. However, these largely undiscovered resources have great potential due to their valuable proteins and fats. At Kern Tec, they are gently washed, dried and then separated into seeds and shells to unlock their maximum potential. We then create compounds (sirups) for plant based dairy alternative, spreads, cereals that are then used to create more sustainable consumer products. Continuous innovation allows us to maintain our zero-waste philosophy.

Where should you already have qualities

• You worked in quality management and / or product development with a hands-on approach

• You have a deep knowledge in fats and proteins as well as food additives

• Fluent in German, working proficency in English

• You have experience in developing product specifications and have a background knowledge about food regulations

• You have a basic understanding of industrial food process designs and how raw materials are transformed to consumer products
