Your daily tasks
Key Account Management: Oversee and maintain relationships with existing key accounts in Europe
New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the European market, focusing on expanding the company's presence into new countries
Client Acquisition: Present company products effectively, emphasising unique selling points and benefits tailored to the European food market.
Sales Strategy for European Market: Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to relay customer feedback and market demands
Performance Monitoring: Set, monitor, and report on sales targets for both existing accounts and new business, aligning with the company's strategic objectives
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to relay customer feedback and market demands
Trade Fairs: Representing our innovative products at fairs and uncovering new business opportunities.
Your profile
Experience: Minimum 5 years in food industry sales ideally within the wider European Market.
Language Skills: Proficient in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
Global Outlook: Ready for international travel (approximately 30%).
Industry Insight: Experience in sales for plant-based ingredients, especially in the non-dairy/dairy sector, a plus in bakery/confectionary & cereals ingredients, and familarity in the unique aspects of nut paste products and their market potential.
Proactive Mindset: Be proactive, an excellent communicator, and thrive under pressure.
Project Mastery: Exhibit excellent project management skills.

In Europe, fruit pits are typically considered waste, particularly within the juice industry. However, these largely untapped resources possess significant potential due to their valuable proteins and fats. At Kern Tec, we employ a washing and drying process to separate the seeds and shells, unlocking their full potential. With our patented process we have successfully established seed-based products on the plant-based alternative market. Continuous innovation allows us to maintain our zero-waste philosophy.
