IT Manager (f/m/d) - or Freelancer

Are you ready to take on a key role in the digital development of an innovative B2B company? Join our team and help us create innovative food products from apricot, cherry, and plum kernels.

Your responsibilities

You keep an eye on our enterprise resource planning in Odoo and manage the system holistically
You constantly develop the ERP on the basis of company requirements and thus simplify the real processes
You support all employees with questions about the ERP system and handle internal requests
You build new models and develop interfaces between our ERP system and other tools (CRM, HRIS, Google Sheets, external databases)
You administer our entire digital system from the ERP system to all software tools, cyber security and user & network administration.
You are responsible for our IT infrastructure in the company and keep it up to date

Kern Tec is a B2B ingredient company specialising in the innovative production of food products using underutilised resources from the fruit industry, specifically apricot, cherry and plum pits. In Europe, fruit pits are typically considered waste, particularly within the juice industry. However, these largely untapped resources possess significant potential due to their valuable proteins and fats. At Kern Tec, we employ a washing and drying process to separate the seeds and shells, unlocking their full potential. With our patented process we have successfully established seed-based products on the plant-based alternative market. Continuous innovation allows us to maintain our zero-waste philosophy.

Your profile

At least 1 year experience with the administration / development of Odoo (Studio, merchandise management, accounting, sales)
Experience with the administration of Google Workspace
Ability to complete tasks independently and gather necessary information
Ability to recognize and solve critical IT problems at an early stage.
Fluent in English or German
